Salmon at Mt Camel beach Hi Guys,
We come to you today from the lovely Venus Bay South Australia. We have been here since last Wednesday. Fortunately the weather has been a lot kinder than what you have copped in Vic. We were on the tail end of the cloud mass and received very little rain although it was blowing a gale for three days.
The weather for the next week is fine, fine and fine high 20's each day. We have been making good use of the communal boat (thanks guys)and fishing regularly with Deb bagging her first whiting. We also had a great session at Mt. Camel beach on the salmon.
We depart here Wednesday for Baird Bay not much futher down the coast. There is a Sea Lion colony within easy reach with the little boat and also a resident family of dolphins to have some fun with (and yes some good fishing).
We are slipping nicely into holiday mode and feeling right at home in the camper.
For the next 10 days we will have no reception, so we will blog again when we hit Streaky Bay approx 17th March.
Until then
Deb & Glenn
