Deb in the kitchen Hi All,
It's been awhile since we last posted. Reception was pretty much null and void at Baird Bay and Fowlers Bay unless you were on top of the sand dunes.
Baird Bay was great, camping was good, lovely view. Spent time out in the boat, went and visited a Sea Lion colony and got up close and personal. We fished regularly for snook, whiting and monster salmon.
From Baird we went to Fowlers Bay with the hope of catching some big squid. We had been told it was the place but unfortunately the squid did not want to play, so we had to settle for whiting, flathead and garfish. We spent time 4wd around rugged coastline and deserted beaches and almost getting lost. We had and extremely hot day and true to form I just about melted away.
We are currently at Streaky Bay, arrived here on Sunday. Staying in the caravan park which is quite busy but have a nice site, except for the plovers nesting in trees above, a big clean of the camper when we leave.
We had a great day out on the squid yesterday and have sufficient supply to last a month or

Fruit and nut damper so. The weather has been sensational but is set to change with cooler weather for the weekend. We will be heading back to Port Augusta Thursday to prepare for the arrival of Bud. From there we begin our trek north, weather and roads permitting.
Until next time we speak

Looks superb and brings back all those wonderful memories. Good to see Deb with a rod in her hand. When Woody told us all that you had a good session i knew it referred to fishing, not like others. Sea Lion stakes are also very tasty i believe maybe we should have a club in the boat. Love the photos and yes a sunset shot tops it off. Happy travels - any chance in dunking the boat in Lake Eyre ?
