Zoo
these first pictures are of the first building i saw i didn't actually get to go in there, but it is beautiful. Hello, today my class went to a hauge zoo or "animal garden" as the austrians like to say. i saw many animals that i had never seen before like tigers, lions, pandas, penguins, white wolves, monkeys, they even had a rat room! aww i miss our rats we used to have at home! "hey mom can we get some new rats!?" after that me Babsi and her friend Lilio (a guy) went to a cafe house which is like a gourmet coffee house with mirrors on the walls, chandeliers, and red velvet seats. we all got a hot chocolate with whip. they were really big and more bitter and thick than the hot chocolate in America, the whipcream was not as sweet and they shure do pile it on there was so much! there was also nutmeg on top. Babsi also said that i should get a chocolate torte i can't remember what it is called but it was good it was covered in chocolate that was hardened. Lilio was nice he tried to include me in the conversation as much as i could, and asked me some questions. it was fun and to top it off our eurythme teacher did
not show up so most of my new friends, Babsi and me went shopping at a near by (really small) shopping mall called River Side and i bought some pistol shaped earrings! then we had to go to badminton class which is our gym class in school. we have to have it in a public gym because our school doesn't have the nets or courts. then i came home and ate an apple and 3/4 of a frozzen pizza and a roll with butter and cheese. then for desert i had a thing that looked like a big jelly roll but tasted like a pancake with some marmalade in the middle and powered sugar on the top it was so good. i am now listening to Summer Nights by the Rascal Flatts. i did some math homework for RSHS (my HS in Ann Arbor) and skyped my mom. ok well i love you guys and miss you sooo much! can't wait to be able to share pictures! i will try again tonight but i havent figured that out yet. Night love you all!

Your second blog sure sounds more positive, Christi! I am so glad your social life is picking up...it will make a big difference. I'm glad you saw rats at the zoo because you won't see any here. I love them, too, but don't want to deal with all those tumor removal surgeries again at several hundred dollars a pop. Sorry! Sharing our lives with five cats will have to suffice. Marble, Tiger, Oscar, Zack and Annie all send you their love! And I do, too, of course! Mom
