We arrived at Golden Mango and were greeted by Sonny who was a proper nice guy. We got cold towels which felt like an orgasm after the day we had and some magical juice which we were confused by but by the end of our stay realised was just the mixed fruit juice we had at breakfast! We had a double room booked but the first night we had to stay in a twin room, we didnt mind because we thought we are going to be sleeping next to each other for 3months and could do with the seperate beds for good sleep. We arrived at about 5pm by the way and slept until dinner time next day! We had arranged for a driver to pick us up at 2pm to take us to Angkor Wat which was unbelievable. To describe it wont do it justice so you can look at our pictures or go yourself!

When we got back in the evening we went out to town for something to eat and a quiet drink. We took about $60 incase we bought our bus tickets to Phnom Penh. After our meal we had a beer with 2 Irish lads and this was a big mistake. I woke up the next morning with the worst hangover in Aisa and no memory of going home. Beer was $1 a go and we had no money left which made my headache understandable.

We went back into town when my headache had gone down from a 10 to a 9 to get more money out the bank and bought our coach tickets to Phnom Penh for the next morning. I was still hungover all day so we spent the night in Golden Mangos gardens which were nice and Ro had food while I fought my headache.

The next morning we had breakfast and waited for our pickup for the bus. We travelled with Mekong Express for another 6hours but the journey and bus was fine. Aircon and a film on the TV. The toilet broke about an hour into the trip but none of us needed to use it anyway. I had used it within 10minutes of getting on and came to the conclusion I broke it!

We arrived in Phnom Penh and got a tuk tuk to the NaNa Hotel where we had booked 2nights. We were to order our Vietnamese Visa on the first day and pick it up when we left hopefully...

Awesome lipdub in Siem Reap
Angkor Wat is one of the most impressive wonder of the world for sure. Look like you had a good time there. It's still one of my favorite place. I made a lipdub featuring 300 Cambodian Kids in an Angkor Temple in Siem Reap while I was there. You should check it out blog.jeanlucnguyen.com/lipdub . Feel free to share it !
