Me and Jill, sharing our triple tall soy latte:-)
Are we there yet? Are we there yet? I set 2 alarms last night in my paranoia and woke up exactly one minute prior to the first one..... Creepy (but SO Ned style).

Second one never went off at all. I have visions of it exploding in the middle of the afternoon(maybe I set it for 4pm by mistake?) freaking the cats out and waking them up from their naps. He he he he

So far I cant get the iPad to work with the blog which means I may end up posting all of these after the fact, but will continue to write regardless. Hopefully you all won't hate me for receiving 20 odd blogs all at once:-)

I've had 2 people wish me luck trekking Machu Picchu on my trip to Chili and Argentina, I think I have some geography lessons to hand out when I get back:-)

I AM however trekking in Patagonia which is the southern region of Argentina and Chile. My 5 year old niece told me to stay warm in "Chilly" as she's convinced it's quite cold there! Mom said she was going to have a chat with her about that and explain a few things, always great knowing my explorations of the world are educational to my nieces and nephews.

Another 04:00 wake up call, another scramble to the airport, another trip to duty free to squirt perfume on myself for the 26 hour journey. Calgary, Dallas, Miami, (meet up with Michele) then 11 hour flight to Santiago. We arrive at 06:30 and pre booked a hotel so we could go crash for a few hours when we arrive before exploring.

Such a shame the flying portion takes so much fun out of traveling, I do remember the days of customer service, free food, free luggage and staff that weren't tenured, cranky and in need of a hip replacement.

It's all good, I got my triple Starbucks, Jill the Duck and my iPad loaded with a book.

25 hours to go..............

I like your writing style. Very entertaining yet informative. I'm planning on visiting some of the same areas such as Santiago, Mendoza, B.A. and El Calafate at the end of the month. I can't wait. Good luck on your upcoming travels!
