The hostel organized a pick up for me from the airport at 1:20 in the morning so I had a good 5 hour sleep.
I had planned to go to Iguassu falls by my own in the morning but there was a group of 3 who had a "taxi" and asked me to join them to the bird park and as I believed then to the falls aswell.
So we started with the birdpark which was great, I´ve seen pictures of most of the birds but to se them in reality is much more.
From the birdpark we went to a water powerplant which according to the driver was the second biggest in world after one in China. Well, it was big alright but did not appeal to me so much.
After that the driver wanted to take us to the Paraquayan side as we were so close, which we all thought was a good idea. What he did not mention was that it would cost some extra money (practically doubled the price) but when you are a tourist what else can you expect here?
There was still a good 4 hours of daylight when we came back so I decided
to visit the Iguassu falls by bus and by my own anyway and it was worth it. Tomorrow I try to move on to the Argentinian side of Iguassu before proceeding to Buenos Aires.
