sea to sky highway
The main road heading up to WhistlerHey guys
So, I've included some pretty boring pics of Whistler just so you can get an idea of where I'm living right now. Have I told you how fab it is here?
I had a couple of days off work last week so being the spontanious and crazy person that I am, my house mate and myself decided to head to Seattle for the weekend. Bare in mind that we decided this on the friday evening!! So we jumped in my car and off we went (Via Vancouver to get a fried breakfast cooked lovingly by my good friend Richard), crossed the border with little effort and down highway 99 (well, actually we got onto route 5, god knows how, but ended up in Seattle anyway) and hit the city at full tilt! We arrived about five, explored the city a little, went up the Space Needle and found this cool little jazz club with the most increadble band! we spent the next day hanging out by the cool fountain in the pic that squarted the water not only extremly high and energetically, but also in time with music (sweet) and shopping..... Sorry, it had to be done,
verythings really cheap there! We even picked up a inflatable boat for spending lazy days floating on the lake sipping beer. Can't wait.
Anyway, just a quick update. Works still cool although a little quite at the mo, but that will change shortley. Oh yeah, have a fab party to go to on Thurs. Hanging out with pro bikers, drinking free beer and zipping though the trees on a skyline. I love it here.
