say goodbye to travel 2011

It was a long bus journey! with 2 police check point before you could get to Baoshan, just right in time for the only direct bus at 11am heading to Lincang to finish a day journey. Then through Jinggu and Ninger I need to sleep another night in Mojiang. My plan was travel through Sancun where I had never been to and then reach Honghe, but find out the road was still blocked, so I took the Yungjiang road back to Yuanyang. The Yuanyang town and the surounding was still under forever semi construction, but at least less dusty, anyways... I was just made plan and wait out for my next festival trip. But then...bad thing happened again on me and my travel for this year was finished!
I fell off a broken wooden bridge and cracked my wrist badly while hiking this morning. climbed out from the gully with all my cloth covered with mud and sand, I wasn't dare to looked at my ruined wrist under the sleeve messed with dirt. the painfully ride back to yuanyang town got blocked by market jam in Shengcun, then find out the hospital wouldn't service until 2pm, another painful wait! the ugly twisted wrist finally explosed when the doctor rolled up my sleeve, "oahhh"...the broken bone offset out created an S-shape, and you could view it quite clearly with the X-ray film, the worse was...there was no one in this bloody hospital could re-set my wrist back in position, "they don't know a thing here" my friend doctor Li said. he encouraged me go to Gejiu hospital where they are specialised on this. more than 3 hours had been waste so I didn't give much thought and hire a taxi(hire a car by myself???? it really not me...hahaaa....!), wouldn't want to wait for those hasseling bus. Another bumpy ride for 2 hours I finally got the treatment, 3 doctors, one pull on my fingers, one pull on my arm and one pressed the bone back into place. god...that was one of the most painful 30 second in my life, no word could ever depicted it, all I could do was scream and wail! at last the cladding plate had been tied and the doctor waste no time to introduced me what I should do. "you need operation" he said because part of the bone had been shattered badly he added, for this they could inplant a steel plate to hold the wrist untill they recovery later. he began to calculated and finally he gave a roughly quote "about 20000 with the best material" he told me, that a lot of money and I began to think and turn quiet, the doctor quickly said they could use less better material and it should be about 14000 yuan. I told him I need to thing about it as I didn't have that money on me. in the mean time the new X-ray result arrived and even the doctor looked surprised, as all the bone were in place, seem like nothing had happened. they insisted operation was the only solution for my wrist, but after I called doctor Li in Yuanyang, he told me as long as the bone got into its place, I could just wait until they grow back together, although a bit long time, even with operation there is no guarantee 100% recovery, " no need to waste your money" he told me. later I told the doctor in the hospital that I might choose the conservative way(which he never mention as an option) to deal with my wrist and not take the operation, he got mean with me and not that friendly anymore, well...it helped me to solidified my decision quicker as I think all he cared was my bill for the operation, not my injury. so I came back to Yuanyang the next day and began to wait out my long recovery. with only one moveable hand, there were many thing I couldn't completed by myself, and need to adapted into a new method. Hell....what'd to me this year!!!!!!
