I can't believe it's only another 8 days until I leave! And most of those days will be spent catching up with friends and family- I'll be on a plane before I know it!
I would like to thank everyone who has been so generous with their donations. I have received more than I could have ever asked for- with any luck I'll be able to raise a bit more in this last week!
If anyone has any suggestions on what to take, please comment and let me know! I think I'm almost sorted, but there always seems to be 1 commonsensical item that is forgotten! (toothbrush, hairbrush...). My first aid kit is looking majorly like a field hospital!
Oh, also, any ideas for presents for host families would be awesome! Right now my ideas are limited to: WA calendars, WCE scarves/beanies, gift books on Perth.

remember Malawi?? People wanted practical stuff like pencils, t shirts and cosmetics... Not calendars and guide books (though English in any form is prob useful)!! If I were you, I'd go get a few tubes of moisturiser, travel size will be easy all around, and raid family wardrobes for t shirts and pretty pencils for writing!!! Good luck and def let us know how you do... Exciting stuff!!!
