We arrived in Athens late last night and made tracks to our hotel by bus without too much hassle. Our hotel was in Glyfada, just south of Athens, Apparently, it is one of the few exclusive beachside suburbs where people flock to.
This morning we made our way to the Acropolis but unfortunately did not have enough time to walk to the top. We were only able to see the Parthenon through the trees. We had to make our way to the airport. for a mid afternoon flight. From Athens we flew to Madrid, where we are now in transit awaiting an early morning flight to Mexico.
The real Madrid we did not see.

Well of to new ventures, Brian was enquiring if you would still be touring with your NZ friends, I said I doubt it,. Ondelay, ondelay, of to Mexico don;t have to many siestas or you will miss out on all the happenings and surrounds. This is so exciting, I bet you are both glad that you listened to the girls about extending your trip, it really sounds worth it, to priceless cherished memories. ENJOY and have a SAFE TRIP.
