9 -11 was an awful response towards the world. The day of 9-11 was a great lost for many people and a shock to the world because so many lives were lost that day. Everyone was in disbelief because no one knew that there was going to be a terrorist attack.

Today in world society people respond to 9-11 in a moment of silence because it's out of respect of everybody that died. We also react to it as a moment in history. Also as people in society some people are still nervous that there is going to be another terrorist attack.

1. What is the author's arguement on why the album sold so well during the week of 9/11?
-Teens and adults in their early 20's didn't worry about anything so they went and bought the album and hip hop fans would do the same because hip hop is popular world wide.
2. Do you agree with what the author says about young people and tragedies? Why or why not?
-I disagree because younger people understand what's going on in society but they might not understand the past of society and the huge tragedies that happen, but I do think young people do care because we are learning history and when and when a tragedy happens in society as a world we donate so we do care about other societies.
3. Do you think it is important for those young people from 9/11 (who are now only a bit older than yourselves) to start reflecting critically on the EFFECTS that 9/11 has on today's world? Why or why not?
- I think it is important because maybe young people don't understand the facts or the tragedy yet, and don't know what really happen in the past. Now that people as society today are learning about world history and the past we are more likely to understand the tragedy and how it has affected the world.
