After breakfast we all packed up and hopped in the truck. It would be a long drive with not much to see to get to Broome. Our first stop was 80 mile beach. It is actually true to it's name and is in fact 80 miles long. Heaps of 4x4's drive out onto the beach which is PACKED with fishermen. It's not a good swimming beach because of sharks in the area. It's a stunning beach and we had a perfect day to spend some time there. There are heaps of really cool shells all along the beach and sand dollars.

From 80 mile beach to the crocodile wildlife park just outside of Broome there was literally nothing to look at. It was a long drive! We arrived at the crocodile park just in time for a feeding. A guy came out and talked to us about crocs and passed around 2 baby crocs that we could hold and get a picture with. They are sooooo cute when they are just babies and sooooooo soft! Like butter!

We wandered around the park for a bit looking at all the other crocodiles and animals. It was only another 15 minutes from here to Broome. Rhett drove us around Broome giving us a brief tour before taking us out to Cable beach to watch the sunset. It's a beautiful beach and the sand is packed down enough that cars can drive on it. There are also camels that you can ride up the beach at sunrise and sunset.

After the sunset we were dropped off at our accommodation. I was staying in Cable beach at the same place as a few others. After we all got settled we met back up for some dinner and drinks. This was a great tour group to get on with after breaking the ribs. I'm really glad I was able to get back on the tour and finish it!

Look at you
Glad to see smiles on your face...those little crocs are cute. You are getting very accustomed to all the wild creatures. We enjoyed our late night call last night with the Novlan crew here. They all say you have an Aussie accent. Aunty Irene says it is cute. Great sand dollar picture too.
