Sort of sick today. Who'd think you could get jet lag between Texas and DC.? Did see Marine One either bring the President back from a trip, or take him to the start of one. The damn thing makes a hell of a racket either way. They use 2 you know, one as a primary, and 1 as a back up. Can't help noticing when it's just outside your window.

More about my actual trip. In the middle of a heat wave in D.C. So, so much for showing respect at all the sights. Nothing but shorts from here out, except at least for the Capitol Tour.

Had a really good dinner at "Legal Sea Food". The New England Clam Chowder was good, the Almond-Crusted Salmon was good, but the truly inspired dish was the Seaweed Salad. Seaweed marinated in something (didn't ask), with a dressing made of sesame oil, vinegar, and something else, which together was inspired. Thanks Amy.

All the monkey did today was look out the window. We (both of us) will be going out tomorrow. Planning on the very least, The Smithsonian, and The Air and Space Museum. Monkey wants to know what it was that "Ham" found so attractive about flying. First 5 people to explain the joke get their own DDR2 monkey. Really, I've got lots of them. They're just waiting for an oppurtunity to travel. Take them around the world. They don't get out much.
