My turn!
So we had a lazy day today, just could not get our sh*t together! Had a massive breakfast (discovered the waffles and pancakes Yum!) and came back up to our suite to decide what to do for the day! .....
We both fell asleep! Think all the travelling had caught up on us because it was nearly 3 before we rose again! Feel refreshed though so its worth it!

Next thing was action plan, we booked a day trip to the floating markets, River Kwai and tiger temple for tmw am, its an early start so we defo need the beauty sleep tonight! Figured we need an extra day in Bangkok before we go to Chang Mai, so booked another night in Lebua ( the breakfasts really are that good!) Next we got the Sky train and Metro to Bangkok's Hua Lampong train station to get our train tickets to Chang Mai (you can book online!)

So we get there only to be informed that the 1st and 2nd class tickets are booked out for Monday and Tuesday!!! UH OH!! only seats available are un-airconditioned benches!!! NO THANK YOU! Totally reckon it was a bit of a scam, cos your one brought us straight up to her mates in "Customer Information" (read Travel Agent) to look at alternative options! So we had decisions to make! Decided on getting an overnight bus and we have our first 2 nights accommodation in Chang Mai sorted too! We're hoping 9 hours on a bus will be an amazing, fun adventure! Find out soon what really happens...

Back onto the Metro towards Silom, guy sitting in front of us has a tweezers and proceeds to pluck random hairs off his face! GROSS! get back to our hotel area, at this time Rosie is starving and we stumble upon an Irish bar - Jameson's that serves Chicken Tenders! You don't need to ask Rosie twice!! Dinner was tenders, burgers and chips! Yummy!

We're getting good at avoiding the tuk tuk and taxi men, the ones on our road don't even waste their breath anymore!

Time for a treat: went for mani/pedi's in the shopping centre part of our hotel! Was great! The two Thai girls treating us had little or no English, but they could still communicate that we are hilariously white and were in awe of the veins in our hands, the girls working on me thought it was crazy! Rosie flip flops weren't suitable to be put back on without chipping her nail polish so out they pop with the funniest looking bright orange foamy flip flop things ever! Will try get a pic up!

Well it's 11pm now and we're up at 6 so we better catch some zzz's! Hope you're all enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend in Ireland! Nite xx
