Goodbye GuysGoodbye GuysGoodbye Guys

Will miss you...
16th Mar. GOODBYE STEPH AND CARSON. We had our last breakfast together and while i changed rooms they bought their tickets to Bangkok. They left early in the arvo but i knew that i would see them again and keep in contact. Although we had a few fiesty moments we had some really great times together and they really added lots of laughter and great memories to my time in Thailand so far. I wished them well and watched them drive away in their truck which was taking them to the ferry. I then went and did yoga but the girl really worked me tough. I think it was a class for the experienced as she wanted me to do moves i had never seen before. She was actually a right bitch! I then went and got a massage (thanks Paul and Jo) where it felt more like a rub then a massage (it wasn't thai). I then just lazed by the pool where Kuan (a guy that worked there) tried to pick me up!! I met up with the 3 pom's and watched them play pool before we went to dinner where we had some great laughs. We then headed

next door to where the music was pumping and Lloyd talked to me about having an arrangement where i would say that we had been together long enough for us to be classed defacto so he could come and live in Aust to work...I think he was serious but i laughed it off. I had a few dances (on my own as the buggers wouldn't come up with me) and then got the shits as i really wanted a pash (those of you who don't know me very well, you have probably realised that i love a good pash!!!) I ended up going to bed without saying night to the guys. OK i am actually admitting it. I AM A PASHAHOLIC. I wonder if they have meetings for that type of thing???

17th Mar. I did have my alarm set to get up early to do another class of yoga but i was too buggered so i went back to sleep. When i eventually got up i thought i would go and book my ticket for Koh Samui for the afternoon but when i got there, a ferry was leaving at 11 which was the cheapest for the day and it was now 10:20. The transfer to the ferry was leaving right now so it waited for me to go and grab my bags (luckily i was already packed) for my transfer. I got on the transfer and then realised that i didn't get to say bye to the English guys and as we talked about meeting in the UK i had the shits that i wasn't more organised. I then remembered my personal cards that i had made and i wrote a message on it saying bye and gave it to the transfer guy who knew the pommies and i was sure that he would pass it on.

Whilst waiting at the pier (where no one tells you what ferry to get on!) another tourist tells me that i am too small for my big pack, but i assured him that it was ok. Walking on the rickety pier i had visions of me falling in through the weathered timber. After sitting in the freezing A/C the boat arrives at Koh Phang Ngan and i end up having to change ferries and i have 3 different men telling me 2 different boats to get on for Koh

Samui. I am so confused and frustrated but then work out that they both go to Samui (something they could have just told me) and that one was actually full. So i head to the other boat where i have to join the que to get on. The backpacks are stacked about 2-3 meters high!

Once in Samui i tried to get a swangi to Chaweng Beach. The men were sitting in the swangi told me to go to the mini van and they tell me it costs 50B. I told them i wanted to go in the Swangi but they told me it was the same price and to go in the A/C van. I am not too sure how but it ended up in a heated discussion where they really gave me the shits. I walked off and found a swangi that was about to leave full with some Canadians. They told me they were heading also to Chaweng Beach so i gave the driver my pack and he put it on the roof and i sat down ready to go. The Canadians were talking about going to Macca's which was convenient as my brothers brother-in-law, Darrell had just texted me to say that we should meet there at 6pm (he was on holiday in Samui to visit his girlfriend and we had organised to meet up during the travels). Next thing a different guy comes and tells me to get out. I said that i was going to the same place as everyone else and he for some reason had something against me and yelled at me to get off before he jumps on the swangi, grabs my pack, yanks it off the roof, and i watch it hit the ground! I was in total shock and so were the Canadians. I didn't know what to do but get off, put my pack on, and i tell him to give me 50B for possibly breaking something in my pack. After being quietly in shock i end up letting loose on him and i started to scream all sorts of language i will not repeat. I felt like a piece of shit and the Canadians told me how "full on" it was and even told me i should have spat on him!!!! I watched them drive away and just as i was about to break down in tears an A/C mini bus (different one) passes me and i end up getting on and only paid the 50B. My god! What dramas.

So i get to an info desk in Chaweng Beach and ask about some cheap places to stay. I went to leave and whilst putting on my pack i lost my balance and ended up on the floor with the pack saving my butt, but i couldn't stop laughing. The people using the internet asked if i was ok and i got up still laughing. They told me my pack was too heavy (second person today to say so) and they ended up opening the door for me. I made my way still laughing to Charlies Hut where i have a cute little bungalow to myself. I am in a perfect spot about 50m from the beach. I still had time to kill before i had to meet Darrell (so i will quickly say that i didn't spend my time looking through a hotel brochure for Samui trying to find where Ben - guy from full moon party - was staying, don't tell me you wouldn't have done the same. I also won't say that

i thought i found it and i actually walked there and even asked at the reception for 'a guy called Ben that was from England travelling with 2 mates'. She found a Benjamin but he was from France, so i lucked out. Bugger) hihihi

I then met up with Daz at Macca's (don't worry everyone i still don't eat Macca's - proud of me Neens!!) and it was so great to see a familiar face and also good to meet Fon, Daz's partner. We chatted for a while and they showed me a good place to eat and we organised to meet at a place called Tropical Murphy's between 10:30 and 11 to help the Irish Celebrate St Pats Day (Not that they need any help in that department!!!) So i go and spoil myself buying an assortment of 10 CD's and DVD's costing about as much as 1 at home. I then ate dinner, showered and made my way to the pub. I got there right on 10:30 and i couldn't see them so i waited out the front and saw a young man with a Gibbon and tourists getting photo's. I debated whether to go over or

not and me being me i couldn't help myself, i couldn't stand there and watch. I told the tourists all about it and tried not to sound like i was telling them off, i was just informing them. I don't think they were all that impressed but i don't think they would do it again, or at least i hope not. I went back to the pub and still couldn't see the guys so i went up stairs and everyone was going nuts and the band was great. I went back downstairs grabbed a beer and looked again for the guys with still no sign of them. It was now after 11 and i end up texting Daz to say that i was upstairs. I stood there for ages and ended up hanging with some Irish guys Cormac, Cormac, Mark and their mates. Before i knew it it was 12 and i still hadn't heard from Daz. I searched for him again and texted again to say that i was getting worried. The Irish took me under their wing and i had a great time dancing and drinking with them. One guy even tried to jump off the balcony through

the window and lucky for him the tarp awning caught him and he didn't go straight through. Before we knew it it was closing and Daz had texted me to say that he waited till 12 for me but we obviously missed each other and we would hang tomorrow. So i decided to keep partying with the Irish and when we all eventually got organised we grabbed a swangi to head to the "happening" part of town, later finding out it's a go go area!! So the 16 of us squish ourselves into the swangi and before we leave the suicide guy from before fell or jumped off the roof of the swangi and ended up going to hospital with a big gash on his head!!! The swangi was a moving club as they were singing all their Irish songs, jumping and rocking the swangi. It was crazy but so much fun.

So we have a few drinks at The Solo Bar and Cormac, Mark and i were the last three from the group to leave and we walked home to save money, getting some munchies along the way, going to bed around 5ish.
