On Friday, June 24th, 2011, my mom and I arrived in Boston, and from there we drove to Cape Cod. We went to Cape Cod to go to my Cousin Rosa's wedding. It was an excuse to see nearly all of my family members on my mom's side. I saw my grandfather, my aunts and uncles, my cousins, even my cousins' kids. The final night we were there, we had a bonfire. It was also a way to break up our flight to our final destination; Spain. From the east coast we flew to Spain on an overnight flight. We landed in the Airport of Barcelona early yesterday morning. We then drove to a small beach-town nearby called Sitges. We went to my mom's friend's house in Sitges, while my mom's friend was back in California at my house with my mom. The first leg of our trip was finished.

Dear Skye, Great job blogging! Love your posts so far. Isn't the ocean at Sitges absolutely wonderful? Perfect temperature!! You MUST try the ice cream bars from the little freezers in the bodegas there--Sonya and I had one every afternoon--they are very very decadent and rich. And have you come across the gargantuan sand sculptures at the beach? Also, tell you Mom to indulge in a seaside massage -- they are marvelous! Have to run- boarding plane to Santa Fe! XOXX Rachael
