Day one nearly over it has been a long 36 hours. Have ticked nearly all the boxes first day. Lack of sleep on night flight. Seat plus TV didn't work. The spirit of Australia Huh! Managed bus to Guangzhou pronounced Guang Joe. Managed to purchase train ticket to Guilin tommorrow. Nobody and I repeat nobody speaks english in China. The train station is more like mayhem crossed over kaos with 1000 people lined up to buy a ticket. Someone breaks from the crowd and believe it or not helps us through our dilema. Backpacking it is something you have to do before you die. I love holidys.
Have included some photos from our cruise up the pearl river. Absolutely awesome.( I hate those two words)
Anyway back in Asia have had the most beautiful $2 dollar meal. Sitting drinking a $1 dollar grandfather. (beeer) large. Not sure what we are doing tommorrow or how are going to do it. Am not divorced the kids are still talking to me life doesn't get much better than this.
Bye all jamie.

As you are travelling your journey
Just a thought - Should families live inter-generational within a dwelling like the Chinese? Could it work at home with the spread of our Continent and the smaller population? You thoughts would be welcome!
