Hope you haven't all been as confused as us with new blog format!

So, what have we been up to.... more exploring of BA, nature reserve and generally lots of walking.....

Oh and a tango lesson!!!! Before you all ask, there were no photos, so you will just have to take my word for it! Suffice to say we won't be entering any National Championships just yet!!

Despite the rest of the group (about 16 in total) having natural rhythm and some dancing ability, Gordon and I gave it a go! We learnt some basic steps and danced to some music....of sorts (the dancing, not the music!) It was clear that despite my ballet training (many years ago!) we are not natural dancers!!! Maybe it was because we didn't have the appropriate footwear??? (5 inch heels for ladies, i had walking sandals!) Anyway, whilst we can say we have danced tango in Argentina we won't be rushing back (much to the relief of the teacher no doubt!) The lesson was also free (as compensation for single rooms!)

We were rebels after the lesson and decided to stay out for a meal (despite Elsa having prepared something!) it was our first meal out in BA and was very nice, in local restaurant full of Portenas, not a grockle in sight!

Yesterday we did a City Tour (another freebie from the school, they got our feedback about disappointment of single rooms!) It was really good to go with a local guide who knew history etc even though some of the places we've been to already.

We haven't quite managed to avoid royal wedding, but just snippets suits me really although I know a lot of you have been consumed by it today so hope you enjoyed it! For what its worth, I liked Kate's dress!!!

We are flying off to Iguazu tomorrow which should be good although forecast not great :-(

With the use of a map, guide book and pin, we have started to plan the rest of our Argentinian trip and have booked a 14 hour coach journey next Saturday to Videma which is in Patagonia.

So the adventure continues........

Freebies
Nice of the school to give you some freebies and nice of you to not cause a stink! Students at my school would have camped out at reception demanding to be found new accommodation as we have some quite tricky nationalities! I have entered you both into 'So You Think You Can Dance' as you obviously do as you wouldn't have gone for a lesson to try out this silky skills. Ha ha!

Tango
Well we always knew neither of you were natural dancers and had two left feet without the appropriate footwear problem. Never mind you tried. More importantly you didnt do yourself an injury! You would have done in the right footwear!

Inappropriate Footwear
The footwear doesn't bother me so much as Wendy's hairy legs and when did Gordon start painting his toenails ?
