The crew has finally checked in for the night. Jet lag caught up finally at 8pm which is 7am Houston time. They looked liked they pulled a all nighter. Aunt Amana started talking in a deep slow voice at the table and my mom was nodding off in mid-sentence. Carolyn hit the sack at 6pm. Uncle Leslie he running on fumes still talking about running the streets we will see.

A recap of the day......

It all began at the airports I hear. Carolyn decided to travel with a giant and heavy carry-on this caused major issue for the DFW team. So they call the Houston team to get cell phone help about what to do.

They made it to LAX but major drama happened in the security line again Uncle Leslie escaped it all by going to 1st class biz lounge where he said he could all u can eat and all u can drink.

1 hour in the flight over the pacific ocean a Chineese style fight occurred over a seat being leaned back and hitting someone's knee. The Watson clan was sitting right beside the drama and was right up in the middle. The arguments died down but the damage had been done. The China man talked loudly to his fellow passengers for the rest of the trip and unlucky Carolyn had to seat right in front of him.

Finally almost 26 hours later from leaving their originnal city they made it to Dalian China. Where once they walked out of the exit a China man Mr. Chen was waiting to marry Aunt Amana. Seriously, the pictures prove it. He even kissed my mom on the cheek and hugged Carolyn very tightly. This group can turned the simple act of sitting down in a small China chair and checking into a hotel into a pure comedy routine and multi-hour event.

We ventured to the local market and ate the local food. People were staring and Aunt Amana danced for them in the grocery store. Aunt Amana and my mom had the worst restroom experience ever. I had warned them about public bathrooms in the city but nothing could possibly prepare them for the terrible conditions. Uncle Leslie got a Thai Massage and learned the Chineese word "Tong" which means Hurts. The lady pulled his body in all directions. The night ended with a Chineese langauge lesson to learn the local words. We have a teacher that comes to our house so she taught them for an hour.

Stay tuned for tomorrow highlights

Only my mama!
Only my mama would dance in public and have the locals starring at her. My mouth flew open when I read that but I had to realize that I should expect nothing less from my mommy dearest. Have fun guys.
