Delhi airport

Hey everyone!First stop on the travels is the wonderful Delhi airport! We have been held prisoner here for approximatly 12 hours now which has been delightful!lol! I think we have done just about everything one can do at an airport including napping, napping, eating, more napping and the occasional trip to the sublime toilets at this establishment! A highlight of the trip so far was discovering the sunbed type loungers in the corner of the airport after spending 3 hours kipping on the spikey type carpet on the floor of the waiting room wrapped in a stolen 'Kingfisher Airlines' blanket! This theft was very necessary and i feel the airline would be grateful and appreciate that the blanket was put to such good use! It really was my saviour!haha! I think i have definatly won the competition for champion napper beating both Sean and Anna by approximatly 2 hours of extra sleep! I am feeling extremely groggy now and at times am finding it hard to remember my full name!! A problem when going through customs! Hopefully this will be rectified by the next 4 hour flight to Bangkok where i intend on staying awake watching movies during the entire journey! A challenge i admit but one i am willing to win!!!!

The flight to Delhi was pretty good as flights go! We got offered a three course meal from a selection of english or indian cuisine! I went for the indian version as 'When in Rome!'.It was really nice and the selection of free cocktails went down a treat also! They really helped with the whole nodding off process and i hold these partly responsible for my winning the nap challenge throughout the past two days! Well done 'Vodka Collins', you were a treat!lol! Anyway, not a lot more to say for Delhi Airport! I will update when i get to Bangkok as soon as i have slept for 8hours in a REAL live bed and had a shower! Slightly nervous about the later in the hostel but we'll see. I will reserve judgement until i get there and after all i am a real live backpacker now so id better get used to it! Bye! Love u all!xxxxxx
