Until a little over a month ago, I couldn't imagine a better city to call home. Everyone here is so friendly. The mountains are beautiful and humbling, the sun is always shining, and the air is so dry you can run several miles without accumulating a drop of sweat. Everyone eats healthy and stays active-- as opposed to my hometown in Massachusetts where no one would be caught dead on a bike and if you eat a food that even slightly resembles health food, people will roll their eyes at you.
My school, Naropa University, is a collection of "the weird kid" from high schools across the country. It is not unusual for people to gather spontaneously into a drum circle, and there's often a guitar or two around to join in. People may raise the peace sign in class instead of the conventional hand. The pedestrian crossing sign wears a pair of Hawaiian shorts. The classrooms are all feng shui. It's all very entertaining.
Then I went to Nicaragua and it changed my perspective of everything. Boulder is still a nice place in my mind, but it's definitely not THE place anymore.
The search continues. May it

Hi Ninna
Boulder is beautiful and those pictures are really good. I love the one of Nicole hugging the tree and the one of you and dad. I miss you so much :( I should give up on Mass and come to Boulder. People are too angry around here. But wait, if I go to New York, people are even angrier there! Oh well, hopefully you'll come join me in NY someday and we can be together. We can get those apartments and have cats, dogs, and some money.
