Day 2

This has been a frustrating day! Mallie, Stacey's dog woke me up barking at 5:30 and I realized I had a migraine! A Fioricet and an email to Stacey to find out what to do with Mallie later, I was able to sleep off the headache and get up by nine. The weather was bad so I stayed home all day and was on the computer, making calls. Then, my iPhone died. Wouldn't charge, turn on, nothing. So fortunately Stacey has a land line and after many, many calls, I was able to set up four apartments to look at tomorrow! Prices are higher than advertised, of course, with many add on fees, and broker fees as high as a month's rent! But I think tomorrow I will be able to choose something and move in over the weekend. First stop is the Apple Store on 5th Ave. Open 24/7! I've even considered an extended stay hotel because of the hassle of leasing something for only one to two months. I may need some blood from my first born; sorry Maggie! The best news of the day is that I Skyped with Jake for about an hour this morning! But if anyone has called or texted, please accept my apology! I have been without a phone since morning!
