Whew. What a hectic few days its been. Right now in Christchurch it is cold rainy and windy. I'm just beginning to thaw out from the two hour scavenger hunt we did that required us to run around the city like the lost and delirious americans we are and find all sorts of random things....plants, money, stones, lottery tickets, and even a long skinny cake. I think our group may have won yay but the results are not yet in.
Our hotel is right on Cathedral square in the center of town, and what a gorgeous city!! Tons of trees, not too much traffic, and somehow, even the big corporate buildings manage to blend in. I love it! Tomorrow we begin classes and will have more time to figure out the town. For now, this is all I have time for but I'll post pictures later in the week. Sounds way exciting! I want more details as soon as you can. What's your room/apartment like? The food? The people you are meeting? How's the jet lag? Have you and Molly slept? I just hope it is every bit as wonderful as you hoped it would be. Have too much fun! I'll edit your blogs - we don't want anyone to think you can't spell!
