We were up early to some sunshine and checked out of our apartment. We gave our rental car a quick wash and a vacuum. We headed out of Noosa and made a pit stop in Eumundi for their famous markets. It was a huge market and dad gave mom and I a deadline of one hour. So not cool! But mom and I headed off in search of some cool things. Mom ended up buying the most. She found a dress (that I really liked!) a hat made by a local lady, and a wood cutting board. I managed to find a great sunhat in hopes that our rainy days were over. Dad bought us ladies some really yummy popcorn. It's too bad we couldn't stay at the markets longer but we had to get through Brisbane to the gold coast to meet up with Janet, my dad's cousin.

We followed the directions Janet gave us to her house and got there with no problems. Janet's mom and dad (Uncle Clem and Aunty Bea) were still in town until tomorrow so we all had a visit at Janet's house. We finally got to meet Katie who we had been cheering for during the commonwealth games as she is a swimmer for the Australian team. Janet has a lovely home along the canal. We were fortunate enough that Janet and her husband have a holiday unit in one of the buildings he was involved in building that they let us stay in. We followed Janet to the building and were blown away by how nice it is!

It's a building owned by Mantra and has units you can buy or rent and they are all apartment style units. Their unit is on the 16th floor. We have an amazing view from our balcony and from our rooms. I had my own room and ensuite! You have no idea how excited I was! My room had 2 single beds in it and floor to ceiling windows. WOW!!! This place is to die for.

We hopped in Janet's car and she took us over to their beach unit. It's in another building Janet's husband was involved in and it's right across the street from the beach. It's also a beautiful place with a great balcony. Janet is one lucky lady! She gave us a little tour of the area and showed us some very expensive homes right on the beach, $30 some million dollars!!!!

We were dropped off back at our building and we freshened up and took it all in. We were meeting Janet and the crew for dinner at a restaurant to say farewell to Clem and Bea. We had a good visit and said our goodbyes and headed back to our unit for the evening. This is the LIFE!!!!!!!!
