Up early and headed out onto the Khao San Rd and grabbed a Tuk Tuk to drive us around to all the temples. We thought we got a bargain as only paid 60 baht (about £1.20) for a 3 hour tuk tuk ride but we found out later that it was a scam....the tuk tuk drivers take you out all day and then on way home you stop at all the travel agents and suit tailors and try and get you to buy something as they get commission!! They tried to get Ryan to buy a suit, I mean we are traveling for over a year, what does he need a suit for?

The weather was gorgeous, (over 30 degrees) walked around and saw some amazing temples, Wat Pho with the reclining Buddha, Wat Arun and the Grand Palace. You get to see Monks in their orange robes praying, chanting and living their day to day life within the grounds. Amazing to see.

After a day of exploring we went back to the hotel, chilled on the roof top pool with a couple of beers (what a life) and then got ready for our night out.
We went to the Vodka Bar (typical) and started on the cocktails. Met a guy called Brent from Canada who was traveling around asia on his own. We stayed and had few drinks and then we all went to a Ping Pong Show!!! Well, when in Rome...
Well what can I say, what an eye opener, I didn't know where to look but at the same time couldn't look away. ha. very funny

We like Bangkok but could only stay for a couple of nights, its crazy. So heading down south tomorrow to Phuket to go to the Similan Islands. Cant wait.
