Perth you beauty!!

First impressions of Perth had me thinking. Another developing city - not quite there yet - but ready, itching, to explode. That was of course before I had time to properly look around and discover the many, many beautiful area's dotted across its sandy landscape. Now, after just a few days, I leave reluctantly, only because I have somewhere else to go. If if were home where I was bound my tickets may read differently today.

Perth is certainly a city suited to those eager to reap the benefits of city living (convenience, high wages, people), yet who love to escape and enjoy the finer things like beaches and homly cafes at ease.

Perth has it on, as dicovered when cruising anywhere with the kiwi crew that has set up camp here. Goodtimes a plenty! Although time did not allow to do Perth large like we intended I saw enough in my time here, a number of different areas that each have their own scene by day and which come to life at night. Of particular note has to be Freemantle. How stunning is this home of the Dockers is I cannot explain! Oh the architecture, oh the layout, oh the ladies!!! Me could live here yes I could.

Up the coast the beauty continues, Cottlesloe, Scarbs and Hilary to name a few other places visited, the coastline a perfect complement to the endless sun-soaked days that follow one after the other. It is supposed to be getting into winter here, sometime.... yeah good one!



Huge thanks to Bryden, tour guide and hook that shit up boy extrodinarie. Equally to Tom and Kristie who put on that super Wanaka come Perthite hospitality, love your place! Cheers to the crew, I got the glass in the hallway, will fish those chairs out of the pool next time - honest! Thanks Cindy, had a well wicked Sunday :P
