When a kid smiles, she/he is truely smiling.
Moving to a new apartment with dad and his girlfriend is certainly an exciting change. But I’m astonishingly confused as I stand right in the middle of a room-full of garbage, and start to wonder how could I manage to live comfortably surrounded by these junks?

“One’s waste might be other’s treasure.” My 10-years old little cousin Eric once told me this. Words of wisdom, take it. So I start to pack almost all my clothes, and run back and forth between home and children’s hospital donation box. Five times, I’ve successfully cleared everything and fortunately have not yet overloaded this massive blue iron box.

After selling some of my books to the second-hand bookstores on Commercial Drive and letting the garbage can take my photos, certificates, and CDs, I feel so relieved. The room looks so refreshed as the sunshine fondly penetrates through my windows and rests on the clean carpet without any complains.

Tomorrow I’ll be carrying my 60 Liters essentials and heading off for my new journey. After having a nice conversation with a homeless cool man yesterday, I’m more assured that we human don’t really need that much material possession to live in joy.

To the brainless drivers out there...
Instead, it might be something that ties us up to careers or jobs that we don’t enjoy doing.

I’d love to live as a kid, and smile the way they do.

In reality, War, conflicts and fighting are like movies playing everywhere. Even though we human assemble many similarities, but our differences are as strong. Misunderstanding between males and females, the gap between two generations, the diversity of cultures…As we see variety, we tend to judge them by our self-centered minds. Hopefully by traveling and seeing more, we can develop a sense of respect and understanding between people, even between countries.

By understanding, love flows naturally.
