Btw letting u all know this is the first time i have ever blogged so i dont know how these things go... but frankly, i dont care! lol
OMGoodness! Kinda pooped! Had to leave for Brisbane Airport at 5am in the morning! I don't DO 5 in the morning! Lets just say i bring a new meaning to the terms, "not a morning person!!" So between the drive from my place to brisbane airport, brisbane - sydney and sydney - vancouver, i have been travelling something crazy like 22 hours. But thats nothing compared to the 38 hours of dragged out constant travel i experienced on my way to Athens. I think we took the longest possible way to get there but ah well! Back to Canada!
So here i am reading my watchtowers and awakes as some light reading on my bris-syd flight when suddenly....(actually slowly) i drifted into a light snooze! When i come to my senses (that is what little senses i have 😉 ) i get off the plane in a hurry leaving a brochuer, BT book and 4 sets of mags! Well i did bring them overseas to place but that wasn't what i had in mind! Oh well, Jehovah will hopefully sort out my blunder!
The flight from syd-vancouver was long, about 13-14 hours? But i was really productive on this flight! I watched 5 movies! Talk about accomplishment! I saw Salt (awwwweeesssomeee), dinner for shmucks (laaaaame) the other guys... (laaaaaaame x 2) despicable me... words really REALLY don't descibe my feelings towards this movie and julie and julia! i am very inspired by that movie! Rather awesome!!!!
Anyway, once we got 'home' i went for a nap... 4 HOURS later i am ready to shop! So we go off to this neat store called Winners! Pretty cheap there, i think its the "TRADE SECRET" equivalent in Australia!...
Anyway, i am loving the Canadians here! They are so nice and there accent is amazing! I already sound local! Crazy huh? I pick up accents so quickly. I actually came in on my Canadian passport! WOOOHOOO!
Anyway, gonna go now and eat roast beef and potatoes and then prob go out for some dairy queen icecream later.... now that will be an experience to blog about!!!

Laurie. Welcome to the world of blogging. I use Blogger which is a Google account but this one looks pretty cool too. You did great for your first day's entry. Keep it interesting with some photos in between that gets everyone wanting more. Love you heaps and have lots of fun...oh and have that dairy queen for me cos' I'm not allowed to have any for a few more months. Maursy xxx
