vacation from the awsome adventure

Well, here we are in Phu Quoc, a beautiful little island on the south western coast of Vietnam. We are having a chill out week, sort of a vacation from our adventure! There is nothing here but sun, sand and sea. We have been out on a boat on a snorkelling/fishing trip, and the rest of the time has been spent on the beach and in the pool, just totally relaxing. We are staying at an awsome resort, and have a little cabin in a pretty little garden. It is awsome here,there are tons of little islands to explore and lots of opportunities for scuba diving if you are so inclined.

* note to Neil* This would be a great place for your diving trip, lots of small islands, coral reefs and dive companies. Just google Phu Quoc to find lots of info.

Unfortunatley, all good things must end. We leave here tomorrow for Chau Doc where will catch a boat that will take us up the Mekong river and into Cambodia. The Vietnam leg of our journey is over.We will spend a week in Phnom Penh before heading off to Thailand.
Hard to believe we have been away a month already, one down, five to go!!!😊

Hi Iris and John, We met you one evening over dinner at Tamarind in Hanoi. We are finally settled in Tucson now and I wanted to check your blog, which is great, as are your pictures!! We look forward to many more readings. Glad you liked Halong Bay--it sounds like you had an awesome overnight experience.
