Edit Blog Post

Well the big day finally arrived. Got off from Heathrow ok and arrived in Hong Kong after 11 hour flight. Got the train to HK island then taxi to hotel. Had a quiet day as not slept for two days, took a tram ride to see how much I had remembered after 25 years. Many changes but most of HK island has changed little, a few more skyscrapers, the Star Ferry crossing is shorter as a land reclamation project has moved central pier closer to the mainland. Now back at the hotel room. Just finished a mystery drink from the local supermarket, the writing was all Chinese apart from '30%', feeling a bit pickled now, I should sleep tonight.

Peagreen!
That's what dad and I are, just peagreen with envy. He would love to see HK again and I wouldn't mind a week in a nice hotel - the Mandarin maybe! Piccies please. Good thing my memory isn't as bad as I think since I remembered your blog name. Latest good advice. Don't swim in the sea without nose plugs or you'll catch that dogs' disease - think it's toxocariasis (from the animal planet on late night telly. Love mum and dad

How about Stanley?
Hi Rob. Having problems getting through to you, on facebook that is, but here's trying again. Dad and I are so curious about what you're seeing and wonder if you'll be taking a peek at 21 Ridge Court on Repulse Bay Road. How about the YMCA on Kowloon where I used to do a bit of teaching - and the jade Market. Can't remember it's name. How long ago is that for us two!! Hope you'll soon feel refreshed enough to enjoy this round the world trip. I'll keep trying. Love from dad and me mum x
