We were now in an area of the North Breton coast called The Cote de Granit Rose constructed of red granite with many small islands and huge boulders lying around. We had intended to visit the island of Ile de Brehart, but when we arrived at the embarkation point we found we had to wait over two hours for the next boat and as the weather was cold, dull and windy, we decided instead to visit the attractive small cathedral town of Treguier where it was market day.

From there we went to look at one of the most famous Breton images, a small cottage squeezed in between two huge red boulders on the tip of a remote peninsular at a place called Le Gouffre.

The rest of the day was spent driving along tiny lanes past small seaside villages until finally we found a nice camper stop at the resort of Tregastel.

Great views
Hi, It must be quite something to have a meeting of motorhomes in Brittany. I so love this part of France it's my absolute favourite and as we will be finished work for the season today (Sunday 16th Oct) we might be passing though ourselves before too long. Regards Di and Pete
