Wonder what that is? And what he was doing??
The world needs a beer, or two.

People seem to have no worries and get along when happy & beer makes people happy. We could have world peace if we all could sit at biergarten and drink beer. We would cheer each other and sing. I observed that this weekend at Oktoberfest. Another item that promotes unity is dressing alike. Yes, everyone was dressed (almost every one since Dan & I were in our tye dyed shirts as custom made by Kailey) in traditional Bavarian clothes. And some even wore crazy hats and a heart cookie around their neck. Men and women wore cookies. Most cookies simply said “I love you.” Some were sweeter than and named specific people and places. And the dressed promoted unity.

I also learned about true love, concern for another and forgiveness at Oktoberfest.

We witnessed a young woman stumbling while her boyfriend patiently held her up. For whatever reason, she was extremely angry with him, yelling and giving him the third degree. Yet still, he was gentle with her, kept her from fall all the while holding her bright, big pink purse. I call that true love.

Where's mine?
any one sleep on a escalator before. This day I did. One man decide that it was nap time and curled up right on the escalator. Another man shook him and insisted he get up. The sleep man refused. Before they reached the top, the man pulled the other man up and dragged him off and put him in the corner to rest properly. Now that’s caring for another.

After a liter of beer, a bath run is in order. Once I came back to my seat only a mere 45 minutes later, I spied some man sitting in my seat. I walked right up to him with confidence and said in German, “Das Plat is nicht frie.” (That seat is mine.) The man promptly stood up and said in perfect English, “I know, that is why I bought you a bier.” He shook my hand, offered me a prost and left.
