Hello! Or should I say Namaste....

Thought i'd get the blog ball rolling, as I sit here at my old mans house in good old West Yorkshire.

Today has purely consisted of drinking ale and driving around parts of Yorkshire listening to tales of me Dads childhood, which was (as always) very insightful. I'm now about to have a few drinks at home with the family to say goodbye.

Our journey has been booked for a couple of months now, and the realisation of travelling the world hadn't hit home, until today; We were sat in the beer garden with a pint of our favourite beer (Black Sheep) and me dad said to me "Well lad, this is the last pint of Black Sheep you'll have for a while", Now this sounds strange, but considering that all I do when I go and visit me dad is go to the pub and drink beer, it hit me like a freight train. My reaction was "Sh*t, i'll be in India in 3 days!".

Any way - I'll leave it at that - I just thought i'd post a blog from Pontefract, West Yorkshire because the next blog entry from me (and Amber) will probably be coming live from Delhi, India. Now THAT is a contrast.

Take care all, lots of love to family and friends.
