Well no one said travelling alone with a baby was easy, and they’d be right. I can’t actually complain because Kaspar was pretty good really. I won’t go into the details of the flight except to say that it was pretty hard, and not something I would want to do again in a hurry - except I will be, on the flight home from Barcelona to Singapore where Gábor is meeting us. Oh well, better than the whole flight alone, and we have 7 weeks of holiday to enjoy before then!

So we got into London on a calm but chilli spring day, Gábor and Baa were waiting for us at the airport, Gábor had arrived a few hours earlier on a flight from Washington. We checked into our very nice hotel, and had traditional English fare for dinner - indian takeaways, with Craig and Blue. It was great to see them and catch up, then it was off to bed for some much needed catch up sleep.

Up at 4.30am thanks to Kaspar, so we decided to go for a walk up to Oxford circus before heading back to the Hotel and meeting up with my friend Angeline for coffee.
Nothing was open, so we are going back this afternoon to go to Hamleys which is a huge toy store; we are using Kaspar as a cover to go play with all the cool toys.
The hotel is in a fantastic location on Tottenham Court Road - within walking distance of everything we want to do in our short time here.

After Gábor gets back from his last work meeting soon we will have officially started our holiday, and it feels great!!
