So to start off the flight was very long but very cool because of the TV's in the head rests. Also there were not many people in the plane so I could stretch my legs out on a whole seat and lay on my moms lap. It wasn't easy to watch my movie this way and I didn't sleep very well. I watched Alice in Wonderland on the plane(good movie).

When we arrived at the Charles de Gaulle Airport I got my very first stamp in my passport. When the taxi guy picked us up from the airport and drive us to the hotel we taked to him in a combo of English and French. We also noticed the driving in Paris. It is crazy. If you are not paying attention you are going to get hurt.

Once we got to the hotel are room wasn't ready so we walk around the little neighbourhood. We found a place to eat then went back to are hotel and our room still wasn't ready so we sat on the couches in the lobby and I fell alsleep. When the room was ready we ate dinner and did stuff in the room.

The next day we went on the all day tour of the Louvre, Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame.

In the Louvre,a museum, we walked in a moat that was very very very very very old. We walked where the water would have been. We also saw about a billion paintings including the one, the only, Mona Lisa.

In the Eiffel Tower, we had lunch on the second floor and then we went up to the third floor to see the view. Very cool.

At Notre Dame, which is a cathedral built in the 2nd gothic period. At the top there were gargoyles and inside was beautiful stain glass.

Today, we went to l'Arc de Triomphe. We got across the street from l'Arc de Triomphe and didn't know how to get across. You have to go undergound to get across because the street in the middle is so busy. When we got arcoss we took some pictures and Jon, my dad and I went to the top. There 274 steps( I counted) to get up there. There was an amazing viewyou could see the Eiffel Tower from there. Also very cool.

Anyway, this is are last full day in Paris. The plane leaves for Norway At 11:10 am. Talk to you later( in Norway).

Nothing Specific
Heys guys, looks like everything is going well and I expect fast. Hard to believe a week has gone by already? Gramma J was asking how things are going and this is the first time I took a few minutes to read the blog since your arrival day, so I will call her at the cottage this morning and let her know what is going on. The weather is excellent here, a much needed rain storm on Friday and Saturday but we are back to hot and sweaty again. Aunt Carrie and Sophia are doing well and Sophia is talking more and more every day. Love to actually have her tell us what she wants. This coming weekend is the family picnic. Looking forward to it, but won't actually go up until Saturday morning to avoid the traffic on Friday night, and so Sophia can get a good nights sleep. Glad to see you have enjoyed France, there is so much history and culture there, but yes the people are lets use your term "Snooty". I called them something different when I was there that I cannot put in this e-mail. Your Mom and Dad can clean it up as I don't have enough money to pay the "swear tax" in Euro's. Are thirty dollar cheese burgers any better than a three dollar cheese burger back in canada? Anyway keep the info coming and I will Keep the old folks up north apprised of your situation. Love you all, Uncle Stu, Aunt Carrie, Sophia and Molly.
