We finally arrived safely in London. Gee we really do live a long way away! Kids travelled brilliantly! We were so proud of them. They slept, ate, watched movies, played video games, coloured in and chatted!
We are all exhausted though and looking toward to sleeping in beds and not in uncomfortable seats!

We spent the evening, Thursday, with Marie (dame's sister) and a special bbq dinner together! Kids were so excited to see their auntie they nearly bowled her over in the foyer of our hotel! It really is fab to see her! We are staying at a hotel, just 10 mins from her house so we can see her after work when she goes back next week!

Tomorrow we set out to see the sites of London! Marie and her partner hamish have taken the day off work toshow us their city! All the things the kids wanted to see after our research into london, so stay tuned for Alex to tell you about our day!

A big thank you to everyone for all your well wishes, cards, etc. They were all very greatly appreciated and the kids enjoyed reading all the cards too! Marie had a gorgeous card waiting for us, and in true Pisotek style a helium ballon welcoming us to London! Thanks also to our darling family who saw us off at the airport on Wednesday night, just lovely!

And while I remember, even though the eod is so large, you can't swing a cat without hitting someone you know! Whilst waiting inthe transit Lounge at hing kong airport we ran into a couple we met during antenatal classes!! Jess, it was Jenny and steve! They live in England now and were going to Melbourne for a holiday!! And we were in our way go England. What are the chances?

Hello
Hi my Darlings, so good to hear that your flight went so well. Yes! we do live so far far away. I had tears in my eyes when I saw the photos of my " miskas" in their national costumes. I am looking forward to following you as you travel the beautiful world. I was glad to hear Opa's voice this morning, Gee I miss him. The house is cold, no cup of tea in the morning and I come home in the dark while the cats are waiting patiently to greet me as they are home alone. I miss you all very much. Take care. Love you all heaps. Please give Teta Ma an extra hug from me. Enjoy Love Mum / Oma

Where are you now?
Just getting up to speed and soooo great to hear kids travelled well. Hope London's kept up the sunny weather for you...you ain't missing much here. Just cold cold and more cold. How gorgeous for the kids to spend time with Marie like this. It's a nice gentle place to start London. Not too different culture wise but enough for you all to have a super time. Where are you off to next? Owen asks every now and then where is Alex now (is he asleep or awake?) and Joel tried to tell me today that Mia was at kinder!! Apparently you flew back quickly so she could come to kinder then flew away again. Bless him. He's really missing her. Have the greatest fun and can't wait for the next installment. luv Neen and boys xxx
