Hey Everyone,
It's the day before we leave and everyone in our family is either, packing, stressing or being pooped. The house is a mess and random, forgotten stuff lies everywhere. It's hard to decide whether Lucy is talking jibberish because she's annoyed at packing or because she's annoyed that she's annoyed at packing. Lloyd has been a huge help by doing heaps of jobs, (including a large amount of dishwashing-Grace must have rubbed off on him) but unsurprisingly he still finds time to read and prove he's a lot smarter than me. Mum just got back from Broome this morning at seven and even though she probably got as much sleep as Kevin Rudd would when he was back Prime Minister; she's still managing to sort out everything and get everyone together for the most skilled trip of a lifetime. -Oh, I must say dad is amazing too. He's a bit crippled, with only one hand that he can actually use, but he's still doing all an uncrippled dad could do.
So, our first stop on the rode is Canberra. Which obviously means a very early morning and a very boring eight-hour drive. We'll be staying there for four nights and seeing as much as we can and hopefully blogging everything possible too. Enjoy the rest of your holidays......

Yours spontaneously,
Molly

Salutations from The Patch
Dear Molly, We are now beginning week 4 of term and poor old Brendan has only just worked out (with Abbey's assistance!) how to use this blog! We have talked about you often and we miss you and hope that you are having a great time. We have lots of news to tell you so here goes in no particular order: Pat knocked himself out during sport! Cripple Craigie is now mobile using BOTH limbs! We are SKILLFUL at Interschool Sport! (played last Fri against Kallista PS. We won Footy, Netball and Minky and had a great time) Hey, we actually recieved a letter from Paul Adam thanking us for all the letters that we sent him. It was exciting getting the letter and it was written personally by him too. He told us the name of his next book due out next year. It is "Into the Jaws of Death".. We are the only people who possess this information. Did I say that we miss you? We have also published issue 2 of 'Grade 6 Weekly'. Issue 3 is on the press as we speak! Lynne is our principal at the moment as Deb is in Singapore. OK we have to get back for Philosophy now but we will write again as we now 'HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY!!!' Molly, can you please reply to this so we know this has worked and please tell us all about your trip so far! Take care and speak soon, Brendan and all at 6B!
