By train to Damascus

Last Year I travelled by train from Faro in Portugal to Singapore

This year it will be quite a different trip, more seeing of Europe and ending in Damascus the capital of Syria. On my way I ll visit also Aleppo one of the oldest cities in the world.

If there is time enough I ll continue after Syria to Jordan for Amman and Petra.

The route will be roughly, one way, 10.000 km mainly by train but there will be also some parts by coach and vessel.

that's really gr8 to hear that you will see Aleppo you'll be happy to go there and will be entertained to go there also if you are a peace loving you will be find more amusing. Could you please tell me what could be the budget to Portugal from India or Srilanka in dollars and what will be the time of destination.

Hoi Bert, gaaf zeg wat jij allemaal doet per trein. Zo heb je al enorm veel van de wereld gezien. Ik wens je een hele goede reis en als je het leuk vindt: Mijn dochter Frederike is voor 3 maanden naar Indonesie geweest om stage te lopen in een ziekenhuis in Surabaya.
