Highlights

Cruised to Elk Island on the Rendezvous for breakfast with Captain Brent at the helm

We had sausage, eggs, rainbow trout, hash browns, pancakes, fruit, hot chocolate, tea and coffee

After breakfast we hiked to the top of the island looking for Elk and we didn’t see any

The lake was covered with ice up until the middle of May. 2-4 feet thick

Elk swim to and from the island and are able to do this because of the air pockets in their fur

Beautiful sights, mountains, water, sky and glaciers

Went to Indian Museum and saw many interesting artifacts

Went back to the campsite for some delicious BBQ ribs on the grill

Headed out to the Swan Lake Trailhead in search of moose

Breakfast AT LAST? Marg get up and get the boy fed, they muct eat regulary or else!! What great pics, love this. What great memories you all will have. WESTWARD HO!!
