It was quite sad, having to say goodbye to everybody before a 3 week holiday. At school, everybody organized a farewell party for me at recess which I found quite nice. Everbody had signed a card, with comments wishing me good luck, and NO I WILL NOT DIE WHILE I AM OVER THERE. Aidan wasn't at school, so I rang him on his dad's mobile to say goodbye to him. Then throughout the last 2 lessons of the day I was wishing good luck to people because I didnt know when I was going to see them again. It turns out that I didn't say goodbye to a number of people, most notably Amy because I thought she would be at astronomy but she wasn't, so GOODBYE AMY! Leaving astronomy last night though was hard because thats when I knew that I wouldn't be able to see them for 25 days. There were other goodbyes though, either over Facebook or in the waiting room at mum's work, with people I knew who knew I was going away. Then thismorning, it is really hitting home how much I am going to miss everyone. I gave everybody whom I had presents for their presents, (my brother is really happy now because I gave him a game he really wanted).

It is only 5 or so minutes before I leave for the airport, so wish me luck and when you see a Singapore Airlines plane fly away at midday, just look up and wave goodbye.

Good luck to everybody back here whom I won't see for 3 weeks. Have fun and good luck with whatever you do.

Tracking you
Hi guys, I was just sitting here (9:45pm watching a movie) and thought I'd check your travel time, wondering where you might be. There's this cool web page that details flights SQ286 and SQ322. Then the facebook icon flashed! and I read that Ben and Amy just chatted! I wish now I had a facebook page. Fancy finding a free internet thingy so quickly. So 11.50 + flight time (6.37) = arrive singapore 7:30 Adelaide time + interflight time (5:15) = like midnight Adelaide time before you leave Singapore - that's a long day! Hope you've had some sleep. then, + flight time of (12.06) = 12:50 Sat noon time / Adelaide time that you arrive in London! So, me thinks you are still in Singapore for a further 2 hours. Ben, sounds like you and Amy were talking of differnt worlds - the school day and the Singapore day. In the world of Tim and I, we just found a mysterious dog (I think) walking in the back yard - I only saw the back end of what looked like a beagle sneaking away under the persimon tree! The lawn tractor ran out of petrol today when I was carting logs. Mark Hawkins came around to say good bye to you, and we had yummy chiken schnitz for tea that I filleted from a whole small chook to use the rest for chicken stock / soup which smells good. Can you smell Singapore? Food, cooking, heat or just concrete and plastic? Bye for now. Love you both, Jen

Good morning chaps
I am viewing www.heathrowairport.com and see your flight expected to arrive any minute. Hope you had a good sleep, ready to hit the sights. Tim took Shadow for her first canoe paddle this morning. She joined in enthusiastically. And of course fell in twice!
