After our weekly test, I met up with Tony my friend from that magical summer at the institution formerly known as the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center! We walked around Peking University（北京大学）, took a quick look at the Summer Palace （颐和园）and then we went out for hot pot aka 火锅 aka HUO GUO!!! with my language tutor Shuo.

We were like wow it is a big world and Beijing is a big city, it's kind of amazing we are able to meet up again. He just came from spending a year in Qatar and is off to Stanford for his physics Ph.D. in the fall.
