Day 1 The White Monkeys :)Day 1 The White Monkeys :)Day 1 The White Monkeys :)

Megan, Franky, Sticks, Nadia, Manu, me, and Milan on the departure day
Hellooooo Beyrouth!!! 😊

I'm very sorry for the delay, but I was completely de-connected from any type of civilization for 5 days!
But I'm back now, et quelles experiences j'ai vecu pendant ces 5 jours: Full of emotions...

Lets start from the beginning:

Once upon a time, in a land far far away, there was 7 young white monkeys who decided to go on a ride. They decided to head South from Hoi An to Nha Trang throughout the infamous Highlands of Vietnam.

Megan, Franky, Nadia, Sticks, Milan, Manu and I were ready for some adventure!!

Originally we were suppose to be 5 on this trip: Nadia, who is Manu's sister, Megan and Franky, who came from the US to visit Nadia, Manu and I.
and then le groupe s'est agrandi! Sticks is Manu's friend from Hanoi, he is german. At the last minute he took the wise decision to come with us!!
And Milan, a very special Serbian who lives in Hawai andwas on holidays in Vietnam. we met him the night before the trip. He very simply chose to come with us instead of going to Halong Bay.

So, here are the 7 white exited monkeys!!

We left Hoi An on the 10th of June with only a map and 4 bikes ready to discover what this country has to offer!
and the outcome was even more than we expected.
It was hard. We went throught heavy sun, and then heavy rain, la jungle et ses routes inexistantes, des cris, des pleurs, de la joie, des soirees interminables, des hostels incomfortables... mais en gros ca valait totalement la peine.

Every day came with its surprises as personne n'avait deja fait ce trip!
