So finally I have uploaded the remaining pictures from Taiwan. Including pictures from our weekend in Alishan and south in Kending which I mentioned in the previous journal.

The second week in Taiwan was mostly rainy. Jill and I had no luck finding any work as teachers. Our last night, we went to an all you can drink Taiwanese hip-hop club which was great - the hip-hop subculture in Taiwan. It was 5 of us and we were the only foreigners in there. We left late night and Jon took us to visit, at 2:00 am, the Chiang Kai-Shek memorial since we had not done so during our stay. Though it was dark, it was immense and beautiful; probably an experience worthwhile during daylight.

Shout out to Jon - he allowed us make his living room our home for almost two weeks. And to Jon and Mitch for the time they took to show us Taipei as well as the countryside of Taiwan.

We were far from the only ones up at the mountain. The worst part was some guy on the bullhorn (talking and talking); it's not what you want to hear at 6:00 am.

that I had to gingerly step around you two sleepy clowns while I made my way to the shower to wash my groggy self and head off to work. It was a blast having you guys here. I've been back to Kenting twice since, hehe, and man am I BRONZE ... hope your travels continue to be incredible, I miss you guys, but the weather in Taiwan is now 很好 (very good - yes I wrote that by myself, hehe).
