Test Run

So this is my travel blog for my trip to Paris. Since I have never used a blog in any way, this is my test entry to kind of get the feel of the website.

The day after tomorrow (Friday) I leave for Paris, kind of like Sabrina Fairchild. Except I'll only be there for five days instead of a year and will be much too busy looking at world-renowned monuments, museums and a Gothic cathedral to sit in a cafe, drink coffee and write nonsense in a journal. My only journal will be this one and this certainly isn't nonsense.

Can't wait! (although I think I could wait for the 10 hour flight, but if I must, I must)

p.s. The location option at the top of the blog has towns like Salina and Ruby's Inn (which may or may not even exist) to choose from, but Grantsville was nowhere to be found.

Mark, I wouldn't say you haven't blogged in any way. I don't know facebook that well but it seems to be a form of blogging. I enjoy the way you write and look forward to hearing about your adventures. Are you taking a French Book of Mormon with you to give away? Thanks for testing the theory that Paris is always a good idea for those of us who haven't been. And thanks for helping Julie and I work on the saintly attribute of not coveting. Too bad you don't have a smart phone that you could snap pictures and text updates to this blog 100 times a day everywhere you go. That would be so fun for the rest of us. Have fun. Au revoir.
