Perfect swimming conditions
Day 9
Saturday we ended up going out for a nice walk after sleeping in till 8am… this is killing me. Lol. We went for a walk to Burleigh Head national park, about a 5km each way walk. And it was hot out to. But very enjoyable and the scenery was worth it. Lots of nice little shops for Jackie to stop and look in along with allowing Sean to find himself some new sunglasses. The point offered a chance for some nice views from about 50 feet above the ocean. I will allow the photos to do the talking on this one. Very worth the stop to look at.

Day 10
Sunday we took it easy, went for a nice little swim in the morning, the rip was bad today, and it no longer says it will sweep you north along the coast but instead directly out to sea right after you leave the sand bar. We watch ourselves and take it easy, about 20 minutes of jumping waves then another 25 minutes of relaxing in the sun on the beach, adding to our colour which we are lacking heavily. LOL. Jackie wasn’t feeling to well so

Looking out to the Pacific Ocean
around noon Sean and I headed out to surfers paradise to go look at an rwd ford falcon for sale. What a walk, another 5.4 km each way not including our side trips. The wagon was not in to bad of shape but they were heading to Fraser Island with it before selling it so we figured we would wait to see the condition after. We of course stopped for the mandatory beer at the pub on the way back and went shopping, picking up chicken and chips. We made a quick pit stop on the way home at a fresh veggies stand for salad makings. I sit here now drinking a beer and watching footy while dinner is being prepared. I can get used to this for sure.
