Camden Town

Today i woke at what i thought was a reasonable hour to go to the market with Trae, Amy, Laurie and Jacqueline. But then we realized that today was daylight savings time in England, so instead of being like 930 am, it was really 1030 and by the time we were all ready to leave it was already past noon! So, that was an experience. Then, we got on the tube to go and Laurie really wanted to go to this flower market in Bethel Green, but we thought that would take too long, so Amy, Trae and i split from the other two and went straight to the Camden Market. I really wanted to find another purple scarf because, well, I lost mine and really wanted one just like it as it was a beautiful color. And i found one right away for 3 pounds. The market was really super cool, but really crowded. Then I was just looking around and saw this beautiful skirt. The lady had only one left and it was in my size, i figured it must have been fate. And i was able to bargain with her to get the price down and i got the skirt for about 15 pounds, which is pretty cheap for here. But it is really nice and I intend on wearing it to work this week. One thing, though, I didn't like about the market place was that of lot of the workers were pothead, and there was a constant stench of incense. That gave me a really big, big migrane. I was glad i had my medicine in my purse because it subdued it a bit. Then, Trae brought us to a really good Chinese place for lunch and it was pretty good. I did enjoy it and then we walked around for a long time. As we were getting ready to leave, we found Jacqueline and Laurie, more like they found us, but yea...so, then we went and walked around a different part of the market. But, my headache was coming back, and Jacqueline and I somehow got separated from Trae and Laurie, so we decided to leave. She was getting a headache as well. We went to Oxford Street to go to Top Shop and it was great! I think that is probably the best store in the entire world and I want it all!!! I have an idea for a "London" outfit I am going to get before I come home and I will be able to get all the necessary items and accessories at Top Shop! I am excited for that!. Then, everything closed at 6pm, so we came back to Metrogate. I was starting to get a headache again, so I took more medicine and made dinner and got ready for bed and decided to update my blog while i am sitting in bed. I am sorry but I don't have any pictures from today as I forgot the essential camera...Oops... but I'll be back there before I go back to the USA so, I'll get my pics then!
