Still in Nicaragua

After spending a lovely night at the holiday inn, and a dip in the swimming pool, we packed up our stuff and headed out. Unfortunately we didn't get very far before the RV started fussing once again. Whatever the mechanic did the day before, it didn't seem to to the job. It was very touchy, but we figured, and hoped we could at least make it to Leon. We managed to get here, and after a lot of looking around, we found a place with parking that would let us have trooper..and as a bonus a pool as well, lazy bones hostel. The owner knew a mechanic, so the following day we took him the rv. He cleaned out the carb, re-did some hoses, and fixed our rim, but so far is unable to get the engine running at its full potential. Today we are awaiting a part that apparently was missing from the carb, to come from Managua and be installed. The speculation is that it was somehow removed when one of the mechanics were cleaning the carborator, and now it is causing repeated problems. We will see.

We would all like to be back in Canada, as we are getting tired of dealing with this engine trouble, and the way and language of Latin American mechanics. It is very difficult to convey your ideas to them, and they are very resistant in getting new parts. They would rather jimmy up something old or bypass something to get the thing running. Luckily the hostel owner is helping us with this as he speaks spanish.
We are all looking forward to the weather at home, I myself can't wait to don a hoodie and sleep with a blanket (something the 36 Celsius heat makes nearly impossible)...I'm also quite certain trooper can't wait to get back to his green couch.

On the brighter side of things, Leon is a pretty cool city, with a massive cathedral, lots of shops, and decent food, so pretty nice place to be broken down.
