I forgot another scary aspect of Fraser Island

I don't know how I forgot but I left out our a crucial element about the roads on the island. Not only are they roads but they are also the landing strips for planes coming to the island! At one point we were driving along and heard a loud noise and there was literally a plane landing right behind us. They land without any air traffic controllers, lanes, or even asphalt. The private plane stopped only a few feet away from the truck and once again it left all of us holding our breaths with our lives flashing through our eyes. I’m telling you this island was ridiculous!
