Hello one and all. One of the recent projects I’ve assigned myself is it put all my old emails up here on this site. You remember those old emails right? Those things I used to send out back in the day before I realized that maintaining a web log is much easier than writing 30 page epics? Back in the day when you’d curse both my name and that of my future children for swamping your inboxes with those same 30 page epics? Yes, well, the good news is that they shall all very shortly be up here for your re-reading pleasure. Oh, who am I kidding, you probably just glanced at each one briefly, realized how long it was, and justified to yourself as you clicked the delete button that, “well, at least I know he’s still alive and having a good time.” I know that’s what I would have done.

Anyway, whether it’s your first time or your 50th time (thanks for being my biggest fan Mom) reading about my zany adventures in the land of horse sushi and whale burgers, it’ll all be archived here for you to access at your convenience. It’s kind of like a greatest hits album of my correspondence, only my correspondence can’t really be considered “hits”, nor for that matter, is it all that great. But like a greatest hits album, these repostings are a retrospective. In this case, of my time in Japan. The Japan Years; like U2: The Best Of 1980 - 1990, it reveals a young artist in his fledgling years and the influences that shaped his work. Okay, so the whole thing’s pretty lame. Fine. But in the spirit of making lame things seem less lame, ala the extra features available on the double disc set of the Daredevil movie, whenever possible I will post additional, never-seen-before pictures to accompany the original scribing of my adventures. This site can accommodate more photos than hotmail or yahoo! mailboxes so I intend to take full advantage of that. So if you have the time, I hope you can check out my repostings. You may find something that either you missed the first time or simply wasn’t there. On the other hand, maybe this is your first time so it’s all new. Either way, enjoy.
