Time to cut my losses. My boat is cancelled due to poor weather. I can sit around for ever for a ship that will never sail, and I can't bear the shite hole that is Airlie Beach any longer. With a Greyhound booked to Rockhampton I join the 90 minute refund queue to find that Peterpans fine print retains half of my paid amount as admin. I would advise against booking with Peterpans,as they are a bunch of ******* **** ****** ********s. Put it this way, im in no rush to visit Never Never land.

I sense a strongly worded letter coming... and possibly a visit to their office when I get to Rainbow Beach next week. Be warned Peterpan...

p.s.For those who dont know...Peterpans is a travel agency.

Pot Noodle
alex, im not sure whether you've grasped the concept of backpacking, what with eating out all the time. Where is the bitching about crap kitchens/ only being able to afford a pot noodle/ etc. Sort it out! ;) shame about whitsundays - they are stunning, but not something to do with a clyclone brewing above. Have fun in the land down under. learn surfing in Byron!! Keep on having fun, despite the unbelievable arrogance of the ozzies. xx

Response to Unfair representation
At the time of writing the blog everything written above was accurate. I did get a full refund eventually from Peterpans, but only after a LOT of hassle - phone calls, emails etc, and I still believe the policy is unfair and misleading. I only got my refund because of a mistake made by the person selling the package which they honourably admitted to.
